Welcome to Sitescribe! By signing up to use our AI-powered website building services (“Services”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Using Our Services

• Sitescribe grants you limited access to our website templates, design tools, and AI content generator to build your website.
• Content, media, and information you upload remains your property. Sitescribe does not claim ownership rights.
• You retain full ownership over the final website you create and all associated intellectual property rights.
• Users are expected to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Illegal usage is strictly prohibited.
• Multi-user subscriptions are intended for usage within a single commercial entity. Login credentials may not be shared outside your organization.
• Users take full responsibility for keeping their Sitescribe credentials and access secure. Notify our team immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity detected.

Account Termination

• Sitescribe reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable laws, or used our Services fraudulently. We may also terminate discontinued plans and those prohibited under updated regulations.
• For terminations and suspensions, Sitescribe may provide advance warning so you can export your website content. However, we may act immediately in situations deemed high risk or involving criminal behavior, then notify users afterwards.

Upgrades, Renewals, and Refunds

• Paid subscriptions auto-renew by default to prevent disruption. You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid being billed for the next cycle. Billing dates are visible in your Account settings.
• For monthly plans, you may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Please note your current usage cycle period will be forfeited upon upgrades or downgrades.
• For longer term 6 to 12 month pre-paid plans, downgrades only take effect at renewal. However, the unused prepaid portion of your renewal billing period would be non-refundable in downgrades.
• If dissatisfied with the service for any reason within the first 30 days after initial purchase, you may submit a cancellation and refund request. Only charges from the final billing period would be deducted from refunds approved after 30 days.

Intellectual Property Protections

• The Sitescribe name, branding, website templates, tools, workflows, designs and other software constitute the intellectual property (IP) of Anthropic PBC and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used in any way without prior permission from Sitescribe management.
• The content, media, and final website you create using Sitescribe remain your IP. By using our Services, you grant Sitescribe a limited license to access, display, or copy your site files solely for the purposes of providing our core Services during your subscription term.

Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

• While Sitescribe Services provide starting templates, you are fully responsible for editing all final content to meet your needs. Our tools are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other advice.
• Sitescribe provides no guarantee of service outcomes or any level of customer/client experience or business results from use of our tools. We make no claims of expected sales, revenue, or profits. Use Services at your own risk.
• Under no circumstances shall Sitescribe be held liable for direct, indirect, or incidental damages beyond the amount you paid to Sitescribe in the year prior to the first incident that is subject to claim.

Your privacy matters to us at Sitescribe. So we take reasonable steps to protect user personal information in the following ways:

Information We Collect

• We collect your account details such as your name, email address, billing details and limited Site usage data so we can deliver our Services to you and operate Sitescribe.
• We collect analytics data on Site visits and behavior and may use third party services to understand overall traffic patterns and how customers interact with SiteScribe tools. However, this aggregated data will not contain identifiable personal information.
• Site data stored temporarily to enable core editing, optimization and publishing capabilities.

Using Information

Our primary uses of customer information include:

• Providing, customizing and improving the Services to meet user needs
• Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting issues with the Services
• Communicating product updates, offers, promotions and relevant content
• Displaying general aggregated usage trends internally or externally to inform product decisions
• Enforcing our Terms, Community Guidelines and as legally required

We will not sell PII to third parties or advertisers. Vendors assisting in providing core product functionality may access limited data as needed for their role. They must meet GDPR standards of data privacy and are contractually obligated to follow appropriate security protocols.

User Rights

At Sitescribe, we aim to empower users with control over their data. You have the right to:

• Access, edit, or export the personal data you provided
• Delete or anonymize some or all your personal data
• Withdraw consent for us to manage your data
